Willita has worked for several communities non-profit organizations for more than 14 years as a liaison for DHS and women and children in the community. Willita has personal experience with PTSD and trauma and has learned how to recover by overcoming the mental health road blocks of guilt and shame. She has found a passion for advocating and supporting women and children that have experienced domestic violence or trauma. She has completed her certification through NAMI to become a certified NAMI facilitator. She has started a support group for women and children called Not DOMB. Willita is dedicated to her professional and life skills of helping others and is working towards her certification in alcohol and addictions counseling.
