Peer Support Specialist

Jack has had the opportunity, over several decades, to experience a wide range of approaches to managing and living with mental illness, which led to his completing training and certification as a Peer Support Specialist in 2016.  His experience in providing support for peers has taught him that it is important for all of us to be aware that there are many paths into mental wellness, and that no one approach or technique for maintaining mental health works equally well for everyone.  Some of the things that he has found help keep him centered and grounded are hiking, drawing, daily meditation, and spending time with his family.
